Sanitation and Decontamination
House dust mites are microscope bugs related to spiders and ticks, that primarily live on dead skin cells regularly shed from humans and their animal pets. Dust mites thrive in the warm, humid, dark conditions inside of our homes. Dust mites are harmless to most people. They don't carry diseases, but they can cause allergic reactions in asthmatics and others who are allergic to their feces.

After the air ducts have been cleaned, we can apply a special sanitizing solution using our fogger machine to assure that we are eliminating any remaining bacteria, dust mites, or allergens inside the ductwork. This procedure is recommended for those with allergies and/or asthma and other chronic illnesses.

"The most important factor in an environmental control program is avoidance of dust mite allergen. Sensitivity to dust mite antigen is a strong predictor of asthma and asthma severity, and reducing dust mite allergen exposure in the home can reduce the severity of asthma, eczema, and allergic rhinitis...."
- Jeffrey A. German, Michael B. Harper. “Environmental Control of Allergic Diseases." American Family Physician (8/1/02).

Air Duct Cleaning
On this process we clean the supply system of ducts to carry heated or cooled air from the furnace/air conditioner (air handler) to various parts of the home or building, and a return duct system to bring fresh air back to the air handler to be heated or cooled again.

Our technicians clean each individual supply vent and return for all possible dust and debris. We use a Power Rod System (agitation system) along with our HEPA Air Vacuum with the power needed to place large sections of an air duct network under negative pressure, pull dislodged contaminants out of the duct system and capture them and not let it them being re-introduced into your home.

PRO AIR CARE, LLC has been in the business for over 13 years and we've been lucky enough to learn a thing or two over those years. We've even worked hard to  make sure that our staff knows the most up-to-date information about all of your air duct system needs. Keeping you breathing a fresh and healthy air is our goal!

Coil Evaporator Cleaning
On the inside of your home in the furnace is the evaporator - also known as the 'air-conditioning coil' or 'A-Coil' because it's shaped normally like an 'A.'

The A-Coil must be kept clean as air from the blower must be able to freely flow through it during both the heating and cooling season.
Mold and Mildew Treatment
Mold and mildew in your home can be a real problem. It is smelly and unsightly. More important, for millions of people with allergies or asthma, it is unhealthy. Now there is new technology that will let us not only clean mold in your home, but to treat surfaces to inhibit future mold growth!

Molds produce tiny spores to reproduce. Mold spores waft through the indoor and outdoor air continually. When mold spores land on a damp spot indoor, they may begin growing and digesting whatever they are growing on in order to survive. When excessive moisture or water accumulates indoors, mold growth will often occur, particularly if the moisture problem remains undiscovered or un-addressed.
Dryer Vent Cleaning
Dryer vent cleaning is important for both safety and economic reasons. Few people realize that dryer vent duct cleaning significantly reduces the risk of a dryer vent fire and improves the efficiency of the dryer, thereby lowering utility costs. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, there are an estimated annual 15,500 fires, 10 deaths, 10 injuries, and cases of carbon monoxide poisoning associated with improper maintenance of dryer vents. The financial costs come to nearly $100,000,000 per year. In many cases, injuries and death can be prevented with proper dryer vent cleaning. Not cleaning your dryer vent is a risk you should not be willing to take.

According to the Fire Department, your dryer vent exhaust duct should be professionally cleaned once to twice a year. Not only does dryer vent cleaning help ensure the safety of your family and your home, but economically; dryer vent cleaning can result in improved efficiency of the washer/dryer. This improved efficiency helps cut down on the cost and energy spent operating the dryer, perhaps extending the dryer's useful life.
Note: If you have insulation on your ducts and this insulation gets wet and moldy then you need to have it removed and replaced with new insulation. If you don’t replace it then the mold will simply come back because the conditions are perfect for it to thrive.

BBJ MicroBiocide®
Controls and inhibits the growth of microorganisms - such as bacteria, fungi, mold, and mildew - that grow in the ductwork of HVAC systems.  Dark, moist areas (like ductwork) are ideal for the growth of mold and other contaminants.

Molds produce allergens, irritants, and in some cases, toxins that may cause reactions in humans. Symptoms include allergic reaction (hay fever, runny nose, red eyes, skin rash), asthma attacks, and infections.

BBJ MicroBiocide for Air Ducts, with its unique BBJ Envirogard formula, keeps mold from growing in the ductwork for 6 months to 2 years.
BBJ MicroBiocide for Air Ducts can be applied in homes, even when they are occupied!
Blower Motor Cleaning
The Blower Motor is an important part of the furnace, which is responsible for the airflow in your heating and cooling system.

The Blower Motor is a component that accumulates a large amount of dust on their blades and is very important to clean it; otherwise it will decrease the efficiency of the unit and may cause the fan motor to stop working.
